I was on a tight deadline to deliver a Kindle ebook version for a client and was having a bit of difficulty in completing the project. I found Brian Schwartz's Kindle template, purchased it and followed the instructions to the letter.My attempt to upload the file to Kindle was aborted - with no explanation. I tried repeatedly to load the file, to no avail. I emailed Kindle several times with no immediate response. This is a huge customer service oversight issue, and Kindle should fix this matter immediately.
I then reached out to Brian Schwartz of Kindleexpert.com, developer of the ePub Template. I received a response from him within 24 hours. Within 48 hours, the issue with my document had been identified.
