THE GARDENER's ICE MAIDEN ReviewThe Gardener's Ice Maiden is a pleasant and emotionally filling romance. Yet it is steamy enough to leave you wanting more on reaching its end.
I am always skeptical when reading romance as it takes only a minor falseness in character to upset me. Much to my delight, Oliver and his Ice Maiden, Olivia, sparkle together. Oliver is like a noble knight in who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to fight to win and keep the woman he loves. But Olivia has built up an ice-cold wall from past experiences and it's not going to be an easy one to get past to get to her heart.
Fortunately Oliver is a gardener with a few tricks up his sleeve and a lot of wit that will serve him well, as racial differences and society status will give him a harsh glare at his efforts. When Oliver connects with her son, he also finds the key that might thaw her out yet. But it will be his past that is pitted against the man he genuinely is and escaping that will be anything but easy.
