Meaningful Use and Beyond: A Guide for IT Staff in Health Care ReviewThis is a great book. Perfect for placing the current state of health information technology and US health care in context. Perhaps a little too impressed with the VA, but does a nice job on the important current role of open source and setting the stage for where MU and greater semantic interoperability will play in the near future. I am using it as a supplemental text in a 500 level health administration IT management & informatics course I am teaching. I also think it is a must read for anyone currently or planning to work in health care IT who does not have a strong health care industry background. The authors and O'reily have done something truly worthwhile at a good value in terms of both ecconomy of text and overall price.Meaningful Use and Beyond: A Guide for IT Staff in Health Care Overview
