The NOOK Book: An Unofficial Guide: Everything You Need to Know for the NOOK, NOOK Color, and NOOK Study (2nd Edition) ReviewSo often guide books lack in depth information though they promise to cover all. This one really does and it's extremely clear, complete and easy to follow.
Some of the topics covered in depth are web surfing, customizing and configuring the Nook, shopping, tips about shopping on B&N, what you can read and notate and what does not notate. It covers such things as lending and borrowing books as well as social features, how to use the Library. where to find other ebooks, as well as managing ebooks with Calibre.
I love my Nook for reading, but want to root it as well(be able to use it in a basic Android mode without destroying it). Instructions here are clear and easy to follow including where to find the files needed to root it and the different ways it can be rooted.
It seems a lot of people have both Nooks and Kindles and if I had I would have gotten the Kindle version because then you don't have to fight holding the book open while referring to it while working with the Nook.
